Skin Refining Serum, a truly versatile serum

Let’s start from the beginning, what is a serum? A serum is a product that goes after your cleanser and before your moisturizer. Serums are made of smaller molecules that can penetrate deeply into the skin and deliver a very high concentration of active ingredients. This makes them an ideal product to target any specific skin concern, from dark spots to wrinkles.

Now, what makes our Skin Refining Serum different? If you know us, you know we love multitasking products; this serum is no exception. To start, it is potent enough to refine your skin yet so gentle that even the most sensitive skin will tolerate it. Our serum gently exfoliates, smooths, AND hydrates your skin. Basically, it’s like pressing the restart button on your face.

Let’s take a look at some of the key ingredients. The combination of Gluconolactone (a poly-hydroxy acid, one of the gentlest exfoliators out there) and Fruit Acid Complex (a yummy combination of bilberry, sugarcane, orange, lemon, sugar maple) helps brighten dull skin by gently smoothing rough texture and clearing clogged pores. But we didn’t stop there. We added smoothing and barrier protection ingredients (like Organic Hibiscus Seed Oil and Snow Mushroom Extract) that help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and protect your skin from pollution to keep it healthy and fresh. Our Skin Refining Serum also has three types of hydrating ingredients: plant Squalane, Aloe Vera, and Organic Glycerin. They will help to keep your skin smooth, moisturized, and healthy! 

If by this point you are already convinced, here’s how to start using it. Apply 1-2 pumps of the Skin Refining Serum over your face and décolleté, after your cleanser and before your moisturizer, and in the mornings follow with sunscreen. We recommend our serum for both A.M. and P.M., although it will depend on your skin type. If you have sensitive skin, start using it once daily—a patch test is always a great idea! Follow with the Restorative Face Oil to lock in the serum and an extra layer of moisture. 

Our serum gives you an immediate burst of hydration but, as a general rule, you'll start seeing definite results after four to six weeks. From there on, be ready to say hello to brighter, smoother, and healthier skin!
