What does HAN stand for?


It’s a simple acronym for “healthy and natural” to aptly convey the nature of our products. Also, it’s pronounced like hand but without the “d”.

Are you Organic?

We are not organic as certified organic ingredients costs more, which can be cost prohibitive for small businesses like ourselves. If we were organic right out of the gate, our prices would be significantly higher which would go against one of our core beliefs that natural cosmetics should be accessible to the mainstream market without the prestige prices. That said, we would like to add organic ingredients and products eventually when they can be incorporated without increasing prices appreciably.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, our packaging is recyclable.

Why do you not have outside packaging for all your products?

We use minimal packaging to avoid waste and reduce our environmental footprint since most of the time outside boxes go directly in the trash after opening them. That said, in some cases we will use external cartons for practical matters, such as protecting the products from damage during shipment and providing additional product content.

How do you keep prices relatively low when many other natural brands are more expensive?

Some of the ways we are able to keep costs down include:

  • not using traditional advertising (so we are very grateful for your word of mouth!)
  • not using celebrity endorsements (our best endorsements are those that are authentic and come from you, our valued customers!)
  • avoiding superfluous packaging when we can.

Do any of your products contain nanoparticles?


All our products are free of nanoparticles. The titanium dioxide used in some of our products does not penetrate the skin and is less than 1% of the formula.

Do you ship internationally?


We ship to some countries outside the U.S.. Please email us your order directly at sales@hanscc.com and we will respond and include an estimated shipping & handling cost.
